The Park Point Marina Inn has a variety of excellent seasonal guest amenities to satisfy your every need. Our hotel offers more guest amenities than any Canal Park Hotel in Duluth, MN. Keep your fitness routine going at our 24-hour hotel fitness center, or, if you’re looking for hotels with indoor pools or hotels with hot tubs or saunas, our Indoor Family Center provides the perfect place to play or relax. Our limited service lounge sells local craft beers and wine for you to enjoy. With an outdoor gas fire table, breakwater pier walk, children’s playground, family picnic area and a location within one block of Park Point Beach, we make sure you have all of the necessary family amenities while you stay with us at the Park Point Marina Inn. Our Resort has an $9.00 per day per room plus tax guest Amenity Fee that includes the following seasonal amenities for your convenience.
Hotel Canal Park Shuttle
Our hotel provides a complimentary, set scheduled, air-conditioned and heated, 12-passenger van shuttle service to everyday. With requested shuttle times throughout the day, it drops off and picks up guests in the dining, shopping, and entertainment district of Canal Park. For concerts, UMD games, and all other events, we drop off a short 9-minute walk from the lower level back entrance to the DECC, which provides easy access to the AMSOIL Arena for hockey games, concerts, events and trade shows. Our shuttle drops off a short 17-minute walk from Bayfront Festival Park for easy access to concerts and events. Ask our Front Desk Team for more information.
Hot Breakfast Buffet
Indulge in the delectable offerings of our Pantry Breakfast complimentary buffet. Serving from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), it's conveniently situated on the first floor, adjacent to the lobby. Dive into a variety of delights, from piping hot selections like sausage, eggs, waffles, and potatoes to refreshing cold options such as yogurt, fresh fruit, and three types of cereal. Treat yourself to beloved favorites including danishes, muffins, bagels, and toast. We also cater to gluten-free preferences with a selection of items available. Enjoy!
Indoor Family Center
Our Indoor Family Center has loads of entertainment for the entire family. It features a sauna, pool and hot tub to enjoy. There is also an outdoor patio to relax on. The fun never stops at this family center, so gather the family and jump in!
Meeting & Banquet Rooms
We have two event and meeting rooms to reserve if guests require a venue for a conference, meeting, or business gathering. Our Lake Superior Conference and Banquet Center offers 850 square-feet of space and can be divided into two separate rooms: the Harbor View room and the Boat Club room. An outside balcony is attached to both rooms that offers a beautiful view of the Duluth Harbor.

Harbor Cove Limited Service Lounge
Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the week, this lounge offers popular, locally made Kettle River Frozen Pizzas, local award-winning craft beers, seasonal ales, pre-mixed drinks, wines, domestic and imported beers and specialty beverages. It has 14 seats and a television where guests can watch their favorite sporting events. Happy Hour is available from 5pm to 7pm. every day, with pizza and beverage specials.
Outdoor Family Recreation Area
Our outdoor recreation area has everything you need for fun and entertainment, including various kids’ amenities. We offer a gas fire table, bean bag toss, family picnic areas, children’s play center, lawn Jenga blocks, ship viewing pier, Harbor View sitting pier, horseshoes, ladder golf and our Breakwater Pier Walk.
24 Hour Fitness Center
Our fitness center is open 24-hours-a-day and has all the equipment you need for a healthy workout. Equipment includes a stationary bike, fitness treadmill, elliptical machine, free weights and a bench. Free towels and water are provided and a 30” TV provides work out entertainment.
Breakwater Pier Walk
The Park Point Marina Inn was built within 50 feet of the water’s edge of Lake Superior Duluth Harbor. The ships pass right in front of our Breakwater Pier Walk and can be seen from the outside breakfast patio, picnic area and all Harborview rooms. Take a stroll along the pier walk and see magnificent ships as they come across the harbor. The pier walk has a ship viewing pier, Harbor View sitting pier and a family picnic area to enjoy.
Water’s Edge Mercantile & Gift Shop
Open 24-hours and offering ice cream, treats, chips, candy, frozen entrees and sandwiches, as well as pop, juice and energy drinks, Water’s Edge Mercantile ensures you can satisfy late night cravings or grab a quick snack on your way to explore Duluth. If you are looking for favorite gifts or souvenirs, stop by the gift shop to pick up clothing, puzzles, Lake Superior books, and keychains.
Park Point Beach
Located one block from the resort is one of Minnesota’s nicest beaches. Stretching 7 miles along the world's longest freshwater sandbar, the Park Point Beach offers the perfect place for swimming, sand castle building, family picnics and romantic sunset strolls. Park Point Marina Inn is the closest of any Duluth hotels to the beach.
